Itinerary
At 9:00 am drive to Sankhu from your hotel. The hiking starts from Sankhu along the paved road to Dhalanko. The trail follows the small Newari village. Explore the lifestyle of local people, their cattle and vegetable farm and rice paddy fields.
Witness the Panchmeshwori Temple at the side of Salinadi River – the Holy River popularly visited on Swasthani Bratha Katha festival.
After the village, you will hike through the oak and pine trees jungle reaching Kartike Bhanjyang. Keep following the trail to reach to the final destination Nagarkot.
After reaching Nagarkot, enjoy the local dish Dal Bhat and rest. After the lunch time, hike up to view tower, explore the Himalayan snow-capped peaks, Kathmandu valley and nearby villages.
Stay up to evening for beautiful sunset views and drive back to Kathmandu.
