Kakani is a small vilage in Nuwakot district situated at an elevation of 2030m (6660 ft) above sea level.
You will have many options to reach kakani. Catch a daily departure bus from Balaju bypass road which takes around 1.5 hours to reach there.
If you own a motorbike, you can travel to kakani within an hour drive through Nagarjun forest and villages. You can reach kakani by a mountain bike. If you don’t own it, hire it and paddle to beautiful kakani village via Tokha or Shivapuri national park.
You can visit Kakani throughout the year. But, September to December and March to June are the best months to get in Kakani.
